How to deploy an app from Claude to a live URL

Ask Claude or Claude Code to deploy your app to a live URL over MCP, with a draft you approve first and secrets that never enter the chat.

Debraj

Claude can write the code and, with an MCP connection, deploy it. You stay in the loop for anything that matters.

Connect Claude to Cohostly

  • In Claude, add the Cohostly address as a custom connector; in Claude Code, run the one-line claude mcp add command.
  • Sign in to Cohostly once when the window opens.
  • The full address and per-assistant steps are on the MCP page.

Ask it to deploy

Check this project and deploy it to Cohostly. Show me the settings as a draft first, and tell me which secrets it needs.

What Claude can and cannot do alone

  • It can check the project, deploy, read logs and fix its own errors.
  • Changes to sharing, secrets and connections come back to you for approval.
  • Claude can request a secret, but you type the value on a private page, never in the chat.

When something fails

Ask Claude to read the logs. It can see the error, change the code and deploy again, and every version is kept so you can roll back.

Questions

Can Claude deploy an app by itself?

Yes over MCP, but risky changes wait for your approval.

Does Claude see my API keys?

No. Values are typed by a person on a private page.

Does this work with Claude Code?

Yes. See the Claude Code page for the one-line setup.
