Privacy

A plain account of what we measure on cohostly.cloud and in the dashboard, and what we never collect. Last updated October 22, 2026.

What we measure

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use Cohostly: which pages are opened, where visitors came from, how far they scroll, which links and buttons they use, device and browser type, approximate location from the network, and page speed.

In the dashboard, signed-in visits are tied together with an opaque account number so we can see how the product is used across devices. It is never your email address or your name.

What we never send to analytics

  • The contents of forms, messages or anything you type.
  • Email addresses, names, passwords, keys or secrets.
  • Query strings and sign-in, approval or secret-request codes, which are removed from every address before it is sent.

Consent and opting out

  • Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are not tracked with cookies unless they accept.
  • If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, analytics cookies stay off.
  • Advertising features, ad personalisation and Google signals are turned off.

The contact form

When you send a message, we receive what you wrote and the address you give us so we can reply. It is used only to answer you.

Your apps and accounts

Apps you host, the secrets you store and the accounts you connect belong to you. Secrets are stored outside your app’s code and are never shown in analytics, logs or chats.
